Google’s Upcoming Pixel Spotted on UL Demko Certification, Battery Capacity Revealed Ahead of Launch

Google is gearing up for the Google Pixel 8a, Pixel 9 series, and Pixel Fold 2 smartphones. The retail packaging of the upcoming Pixel 8a smartphone was leaked recently, giving an overview of the design. We have spotted an upcoming Google smartphone on the UL Demko certification website.

Google to Equip Pixel 8A / Pixel 9 Series / Pixel Fold 2 with a 4942mAh Battery

The UL Demko certification obtained by the upcoming Google smartphone confirms that the device will bear the model number GH2MB. The UL Demko certification confirms that Google will equip the device with a 4942mAh rated battery.

The battery of the forthcoming smartphone is likely to be marketed as 5000mAh or 5040mAh. The certification hints that the launch of the upcoming Google smartphone is near. The Pixel 7a smartphone also came with the GHL1X model number in certain regions.

Thus, we have speculated that the GH2MB model number revealed through UL Demko might be the Pixel 8a smartphone. However, the 4942mAh rated battery is significantly higher than the 4385mAh battery of the Pixel 7a and the 4410mAh battery of the Pixel 6a smartphone.

So, there might be less chance of it being a Pixel 8A, and it might belong to the Pixel 9 series smartphones. At the moment, we can’t confirm anything, the GH2MB could be the Pixel 9 Pro. The Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro smartphones also sport a large 5000mAh battery.

There are also chances that the GH2MB smartphone might belong to the upcoming Pixel Fold 2 smartphone. The original Google Pixel Fold came with a 4821mAh battery.

We might have to wait for the smartphone to appear in other certifications to know the moniker and other details of the GH2MB smartphone.
