Barcelona loanee earning his trust amid solid performances at Girona

Pablo Torre was one of many youngsters to leave Barcelona in favour of a loan move elsewhere. The youngster joined Girona on a season-long loan deal, in order to find more game-time.

The midfielder initially had a slow start to the season, struggling with game-time. But he has earned more prominence in recent matches.

Torre earning more trust in Barcelona

According to a recent report from Diario SPORT, Pablo Torre is earning more trust in Barcelona.

This comes on the back of his recent performances at Girona. Torre, after all, has established himself as a regular for the Catalans in recent matches, notably starting the last two matches.

Torre even starred in Girona’s stunning win over Atletico Madrid. It is apparent that the young midfielder is starting to showcase his potential.

There was speculation linking Torre with a January exit from Girona. But following the player’s recent turn of fortunes, he may end up staying at the club until the end of the season.

Torre’s prospects at Barcelona

If Pablo Torre continues to perform the way he has in recent matches, the youngster may earn himself a place in the Barcelona first team next season.

Indeed, if everything goes according to the plan, Torre will return to Camp Nou next summer and become a part of the first-team setup.

Barça are, anyway, in need of a new midfielder given the way the likes of Gavi, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong have struggled with injuries, whereas Oriol Romeu has struggled to perform.

With that in mind, it is fair to say that Torre has reinvented himself and stands a chance of finally making it big at Barça next season.
