Nothing, led by Carl Pei, launched its sub-brand CMF last year and introduced a host of budget-friendly products like the Buds Pro, Watch Pro, and 65W power adapter. Now, it seems like the company is preparing to unveil a new device, most probably the Neckband Pro.
CMF by Nothing recently shared a post on X, hinting at an upcoming release with the intriguing message, “Something new is coming soon.” The teaser image doesn’t provide clear insights into the product, and responses from users indicate a general state of confusion.

However, the prevailing speculation is that it might be a wireless neckband. Some other intriguing guesses include a pen or thermometer, but these products appear too distant from Nothing and CMF’s present product portfolio. Furthermore, unveiling the Neckband aligns with CMF’s overarching strategy of targeting the budget segment.
Recently, the ‘Nothing Neckband Pro’ appeared on several certification websites like the TDRA and BIS, which indicates that the launch will happen soon. That said, not much is known about the upcoming CMF product, and we will have to wait for more updates.
In related news, Nothing, is gearing up to unveil its mid-range smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a), during the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in late February. It is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to draw power from the Dimensity 7200 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and run Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5 out of the box, along with Nothing’s iconic Glyph Interface.
